REWARD OFFERED FOR INFORMATION ABOUT LYNX KILLED NEAR SILVERTON
SILVERTON, Colo.–The Colorado Division of Wildlife is seeking information about a lynx that was illegally killed near Silverton within the last two weeks.
DOW personnel located the carcass on Oct. 7 in the Kendall Mountain area. The lynx appeared to be killed by someone using a bow and arrow. The lynx was a radio-collared male that was born in 2005.
Any person with information about this incident is encouraged to call Operation Game Thief at 1-877-265-6648. Callers can remain anonymous and a reward is available to anyone providing information leading to a conviction of this crime.
